I just wanted to dedicate this blog entry to one of the most amazing people in my life. My best friend, Shana. We are coming up on our eleven year "friendship anniversary" and I continue to be amazed as the years pass, how blessed I am to have her in my life. Little did we know, as nineteen year old girls, when we met back in college, what God had in store for both of us. We got married within a year of each other, then had our first children, just eleven weeks apart. Our second, four months apart, and our third only five weeks! God put in both of our hearts a passion for photography, homeschooling, and most recently adoption! Throughout these years and experiences I have learned how rich, and deep, and real a friendship can be if God stays in it. Her heart is selfless, humble, and generous...the witness of her faith, inspiring...her family, beautiful and amazing!. I look forward to many, many, many more years together! SISTERCHICKS FOREVER!!!!

And I as the momma of Shana, am also very glad God placed the 2 of U together as roommates in college! You even worked together in college. Let's see, you both ate icecream as a hurrican went through H'burg...you laughted alot! You played in the USM band, have the same Japanese friend...What else have you done together? Better question is: what things haven't you done together???
I just know that I am one happy momma that the 2 of U got together way back in 19-hummmmmm! SHOULD I SAY THE YEAR? YES, 1999!

I'm glad you and Shana are best friends. That is so very special. I agree that our Shana is a wonderful person... and I get to have her as a part of my family because she married my son. She is a wonderful daughter to me, a terrific wife to my son and a fantastic mother to their three little princesses... my own little granddaughters. I thank God for Shana.
